Fitch Agency Affirms a Freight One’s Credit Rating and a Stable Perspective

Fitch Ratings, an international rating agency, affirmed the long-term credit rating of Freight One at the BB+ level and stable outlook.
"The rating affirmation by Fitch indicates an appreciation of the company's managers’ performance associated with improvement of operational efficiency of business and conservative policy in managing debt portfolio", Anna Nekrasova, First Deputy CEO of Freight One, Chief Financial Officer, said.
When making decision, the agency considered the current situation in the Russian economy, which positively affects the growth in freight volumes on railways and operating rates at the market of transportation by gondolas, reduces in the company's debt burden and strong liquidity of Freight One.
The current level of the rating reflects leading positions of Freight One at the rail freight market and premium client base with a focus on long-term contracts. These factors, along with a wide network of regional branches and a diversified fleet, provide the company with high competitive strength at the market.
