Freight One Is Among Russian Leaders in Procurement Transparency

The procurement system of Freight One has received a High Transparency mark in the National Procurement Transparency Rating 2017, which is annually organized by the National Association of participants of electronic commerce following on from the results of evaluation of the procurement activities of the largest commercial companies in Russia.

"We are always open to cooperation with business partners. During the last year, we have improved the procedure for selecting suppliers of materials and services, procurement procedures and have increased the transparency of the company's activities in this area. High evaluation of the expert jury confirms the compliance of the Freight One’s procurement system with modern requirements and statutory regulations", Sergey Fedotkin, Head of Inventory Purchase and Sale Department, said.

The rating organizers estimated procurement procedures of commercial customers according to various criteria, including the accessibility of various types of information about procedures, planned purchases, upcoming tendering procedures and concluded agreements on the official websites of the companies.

183 commercial companies, specialized in various types of activities, participated in the 2017 rating.

For reference: the National Procurement Transparency Rating (NPTR) project is an independent non-profit initiative specializing in economic and legal analysis of the Russian market of government’s and corporate procurement since 2006. The rating is supported by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, RF CCI, profile committees of the State Duma and is a tool for social control of efficiency of expenditure by the state and corporate customers. Federal agencies and foundations, constituent entities of the Russian Federation, municipal customers, entities which place purchase orders under the law No. 223-FZ, and also the largest commercial purchasers are the Rating participants.
