Freight One organized the first multimodal transportation from Kuzbass to Kazakhstan
The Novosibirsk branch of Freight One organized the transportation of grinding balls from the Kemerovo region by road to the Novosibirsk-Zapadny railway station (Novosibirsk region), and from there in covered wagons by rail to Kazakhstan. The client was the Continent group.
"Today, cargo owners are interested in delivering door-to-door products, organizing warehouse storage, minimizing their own efforts and transportation costs. I am proud that partners see us as professionals who can help them. The main difficulty in organizing multimodal services is the exact temporary and territorial coordination of all involved modes of transport, as well as the ability to take into account all external factors that may affect the process. The branch’s specialists have enough experience and opportunities to provide services on a regular basis,” commented Evgeniy Dolzhenko, Director of the Novosibirsk branch.
In addition to providing vehicles, Freight One specialists rented a logistics hub at the Novosibirsk-Zapadny railway station, developed and agreed a loading scheme, organized loading and unloading operations, and paid for the railway tariff.
