Employees’ initiatives will bring Freight One 3 billion rubles
Freight One is implementing its major project entitled the Production System, which is aimed at increasing its operational performance and improving business processes. Leaders of this transformation are employees of the company's departments and branches. Throughout 2020, the employees proposed new approaches to solving daily tasks and ways to optimize existing working standards. More than 500 initiatives were approved for the implementation in the company. Their total economic effect is initially estimated at 3 billion rubles.
“The production system is an important part of Freight One's Development Strategy until 2023, which is aimed at making the company one of the market leaders in terms of customer service and operational performance. To achieve these results, the operator transforms itself and changes existing processes, involving employees from different departments in the work on the transformations. Local employees know exactly what needs to be improved in their work, so any team member can come up with an idea for the improvement. The project not only allows every Freight One’s employee to live up to their potential, but also makes it possible to help to solve the most ambitious business tasks and achieve strategic goals,” Aleksey Agapkin, Freight One’s Deputy CEO for Operational Performance and Technical Development, said.
The program started in Freight One in the summer of 2019. Its Voronezh branch acted as a pilot site.
