Freight One enters into a service contract with United Metallurgical Company
Freight One has entered into a three-year contract for cooperation with Vyksa Steel Works (Nizhny Novgorod region) of United Metallurgical Company (OMK). The operator will provide railroad cars to transport pipes, wheel products, coil and flat-rolled stock of the enterprise.
“Freight One's cooperation with OMK began more than 10 years ago. During this time, we have learned the needs of our partner, we know exactly what they need and are ready to ensure the timely delivery of goods full and complete. Now our experts are developing a special service program for the client. Within it, we are going to offer services to our counterparts to forward freight, to increase the supply of raw materials needed to manufacture pipe and wheel products from partners of the plant,” Taras Zaluzhny, Director of Freight One’s Nizhny Novgorod branch, said.
OMK products will be sent to partners throughout Russia.
“We are working not only to improve the quality of products, but also to improve our customer service, for which logistics is one of the key elements. The share of rail transportation in the total shipments of the plant is on average 75%. Freight One is our strategic partner, together with which we ensure uninterrupted supplies of products to our customers. The new contract will make it possible not only to guarantee reliable supplies, but also to increase the efficiency of processes in general,” Alexander Mishin, Director for Transport Logistics at OMK's Vyksa Works, said.
