JSC Freight One and Russian Coal Co Signed the Service Contract
Under the terms and conditions of the contract, Joint Stock Company Freight One (JSC Freight One) shall provide for meeting of the demands of Russian Coal Co (a member of SAFMAR Group owned by Mikhail Gutseriev) in gondola cars during three years. Annual amount of cargoes planned to be transported by the operator will comprise about 2.5 million tons of products.
Sergey Karataev, CEO of JSC Freight One commented saying, “The activity of JSC Freight One is aimed at development of long-term relationship with the leaders of Russian business. The signed contract guarantees for Russian Coal Co provision of the rolling stock required to perform the declared amounts of transportation, and for JSC Freight One – stability of the transportation customer base”.
JSC Freight One will provide for transportation of coal mining products from the enterprises of Russian Coal Co located in Khakassia and Krasnoyarsk Krai within the territory of Russia and for export purposes. In addition, the partners will work out increasing of the efficiency of using the railcar fleet and reducing costs of the freight transportation operations.

JSC Freight One and Russian Coal Co cooperate since 2009. Total 1.7 million tons of the company products were transported in the gondola cars provided by the operator during 2018.
JSC Russian Coal was established in 2002. It is a member of SAFMAR Group, which is one of the Russia’s largest industrial and financial groups. Commercial industrial assets of Russian Coal Co are located in Amur region, Republic of Khakassia and Krasnoyarsk Krai. The company includes six open-pit coal mines, a beneficiation plant as well as power supply, transport and repair facilities.
