JSC Freight One Developed the “Mobile Reporter” Digital Service
The specialists of Joint Stock Company Freight One (JSC Freight One) have developed the system that would assist in automation of the processes of acceptance and rejection of the boxcars as well as provide for safekeeping of the railcar fleet. The system is open for downloading at Apple Store and Google Play.
“The “Mobile Reporter” operation principle is similar to operation of the car sharing program. When the railcar arrives at the railway station, our partner would examine it and, should any defects be detected, take a photograph of the defect and send the image to JSC Freight One using the appropriate application in the smartphone or on the tablet. After receiving a notice we shall promptly respond to specify the details, discuss the refunding issues, if necessary, and also send the relevant rolling stock for repair. For the clients the system will provide for a maximally prompt response to their requests, while for JSC Freight One – for optimization of the operating cycle of the railcars due to decreasing the railcar downtimes, which are not related to the freight operations,” informed Dmitry Prytula, Deputy CEO for Commerce and Operations of JSC Freight One.
The trial version has been successfully tested while accepting the boxcars within the framework of the contract concluded with Altaivagon.
By now, this service is oriented solely at operation with the aforementioned type of rolling stock. The clients of JSC Freight One registered in the website “User Account” can get access in to the application using the same log in and password. A simplified system of registration on the basis of the phone number is accessible for those partners, who perform acceptance of the boxcar at the railway station.
The company plans including expansion of the service capabilities and adding other types of freight cars thereto.
