JSC Freight One Ranked First in the Railway Operators Rating in Terms of Amounts of Transportation
Based on the results of the year ended 2018, Joint Stock Company Freight One (JSC Freight One) was ranked first in the INFOLine Rail Russia TOP rating in terms of amounts of transportation and second in the operators rank rating.
“High-rank positions in the rating prove the correctness of our course of development – concentration of the efforts upon increasing the efficiency of the railcar fleet management. We found the resources for improvements in the railcars operation. Joining our efforts with RZD and freight forwarders we develop the solutions allowing decreasing non-productive operations – downtimes of the rolling stock due to repairs and loading/unloading operations. Taking into consideration the fact that the Long-Term Development Program (LTDP) by RZD envisages increasing the loadings by 18.6% till 2025, railcar using efficiency might become the very tool that would allow attaining the target parameters,” pointed out Alexander Sapronov, CEO of JSC Freight One.
During 12 months of 2018, JSC Freight One transported 173 million tons of cargoes. The freight turnover of the company comprised 289 billion ton-kilometers. The railcar fleet managed by the operator amounted to more than 111 thousand railcars.
“The results of the year 2018 confirm correctness of the strategy pursued by JSC Freight One in order to offer complex logistics services for the freight owners from participation at the internal logistics management to forwarding of cargoes. Accumulated by JSC Freight One competence and experience in increasing the efficiency of logistics activities carried out by the freight owners within the framework of strategic partnership provide for a high level of business stability at any stage of development cycle of the market for operations with the rolling stock,” informed Mikhail Burmistrov, Director of INFOLine-Analitika.
