New Freight One Board elected
By the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) held on May 6, 2020, a new Board of Directors was elected. It is for the first time that Vladimir Lisin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NLMK, and Anastassia Lauterbaсh, an independent director, have become members of the Board.
The total number of Freight One Board members is nine, four of them are recognized as independent directors:

- Alexander Voloshin, independent director
- Pavel Kiryukhaniyev, independent director
- Anastassia Lauterbach, independent director
- Vladimir Lisin
- Mark Okes-Voysey, independent director

“Vladimir Lisin’s election to the Freight One Board emphasizes the controlling shareholder’s focus on its transport business and will contribute to fulfilling the development strategy approved by the Company. Anastassia Lauterbaсh is internationally recognized for her experience in digitalization. Thanks to her knowledge and competence, we will strengthen our strategic direction, the digitization of the operator’s business model," said Alexander Voloshin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Freight One.
Background on the new Board members:
Vladimir Lisin has been a member of the Board of Directors of NLMK Group since 1996 and Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1998. He started his career as an electrical fitter in 1975. At Tulachermet R&D company, he worked his way up from an assistant steelmaker to Deputy Head of Workshop. Starting in 1986, he worked in Kazakhstan, first as Deputy Chief Engineer and then Deputy CEO of Karaganda Metallurgical Plant. Since 1993, he has been a Board member of several leading Russian metallurgical enterprises.
Anastassia Lauterbaсh is a member of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of EasyJet PLC (a UK airline) and WireCard AG (digital financial services, Germany). She is also a member of the advisory bodies of NASDAQ (one of the major US stock exchanges, specializing in high-tech companies) and several other US and European enterprises. Since 2013, she also runs a company of her own, providing technology solutions for business growth based on machine learning and artificial intelligence. In June 2020, she will join the faculty staff of the newly established Potsdam Digital University to teach Artificial Intelligence.
Earlier in her career, she was First Vice President of the European division of Qualcomm (a wireless communications R&D company, USA) and Deutsche Telekom (an international telecommunications company, Germany). In the latter, she was responsible for business development, investment and innovation.
Anastassia is extensively experienced in business transformation through technological innovations.
