New generation cars will be repaired in Lipetsk region
Gryazi Car Repair Enterprise (GRP Gryazi with 100% of shares belonging to Freight One) received the right to carry out the current uncoupling repair of freight cars with improved technical and economic features that are produced by the railway holding United Wagon Company (UWC). The project is implemented as part of Freight One's repair strategy.
The enterprise has successfully passed the certification, which includes the personnel training, checking of the necessary equipment and diagnostic tools, as a result of which еру railway holding UWC assigned the status of an authorized service center of the 3rd category to GRP Gryazi.
“Our capability to repair all types of rolling stock is the objective of our company as of a major car repair enterprise. Not only do we improve the efficiency of Freight One's rolling stock management, but we also develop the service range for other rolling stock owners. Every month, depending on how occupied we are with other types of repairs, we can repair from 20 to 40 cars with the allowable axial load of up to 25 tf,” Alexander Osintsev, General Director of GRP Gryazi, commented.
It is worth reminding that last year Freight One's car repair enterprise significantly built up its capacity and broadened the range of its repair services. In particular, it expanded the area of is storage facilities, providing additional opportunities for storing wheelsets and other spare parts for Freight One's cars; and started to repair cement hopper cars and SKF cassette-type bearings.
Gryazi Car Repair Enterprise (a subsidiary of Freight One PJSC) is located in the town of Gryazi, Lipetsk Region, and specializes in the current, roundhouse and overhaul repairs of freight cars of various types, including open cars, platforms, pellet carriers and cement carriers, and also upgrades platform cars extending their service life.
